Voice of Hope ministry is a Christian community center established to provide children living in West Dallas with after-school tutoring, strong character models, life skills and family support services.
Ongoing Programs
- Daily after-school tutoring programs
- Weekly Bible studies
- Summer day camps providing children with Bible schools, sports camps, life skills, etiquette training, money management and job training
- Emergency food pantry
- Emergency assistance for rent and utilities
- Kids’ Cafe which serves a hot meal to each child in the daily after school tutoring program (this is often the only hot meal of the day for these children)
- Community work days
- Holiday outreach programs
Ways to get involved
- Assistance with renovating the playground
- Painting of the gymnasium
- Landscaping
- Complete the renovtions to the facility (additional bathrooms)
- Stock and organize the food pantry and assist in assembling family food boxes
- Prayer partners
- Help with the Thanksgiving and Christmas outreach programs for the children and their families (Thanksgiving celebration dinner, Thanksgiving baskets, Kids’ Christmas Shoppe, Parents’ Christmas Shoppe)
- Donation of youth Bibles, PACE curriculum books, reading books, arts and crafts supplies, television, DVD player
- Children’s school shoes
- Donation of office supplies, cleaning and maintenance supplies
- Grant writer
